If yours doesn't, this page lists the audio equipment we've checked, and the standards we check against, so you or your family can buy with confidence rather than guesswork.
The standards we check against
Certified for Microsoft Teams
We start from equipment certified for Microsoft Teams. That certification means the device has been through proper call-quality testing, including how well it stops the person at the other end hearing their own voice echoed back. It's the most reliable public benchmark for the kind of conversation Tuno has with you.
Wired USB audio
A cable keeps things steady. Ideally the microphone and speaker live in one physical device, because a single device keeps the sound going out and the sound coming in on the same clock, which makes it far easier for Tuno to tell its own voice apart from yours.
Bluetooth LE Audio, only when it's all proven
Bluetooth LE Audio can work, but only when everything lines up: Windows 11 version 24H2 (build 26100.4484 or newer), a PC whose manufacturer built in LE Audio support from the factory, the manufacturer's own drivers, and an LE Audio peripheral we've proven. Generic Bluetooth audio is never recommended for Tuno, so please don't buy a Bluetooth headset expecting it to help.

Jabra Evolve 20 MS Stereo

A wired USB headset (USB-C, with USB-A) in the variant certified for Microsoft Teams. It adds a known-good microphone and headphones in one device, and is a good fit when the person using Tuno is comfortable wearing a headset.
Jabra Speak2 40 MS
Part 2740-109
A wired speakerphone (USB-A and USB-C) certified for Microsoft Teams, designed and tested for echo-controlled calls. It sits on the desk, so there's nothing to wear and nothing to charge.
Poly Sync 20 (Teams)
SKU 772C8AA
A speakerphone certified for Microsoft Teams. With Tuno it must be connected by USB cable only, never over Bluetooth.
